Dear Andrea,
Nice to see you back.
I have often wondered how many bottles of wines producers use on their annual visits of clients, friends and quests. On several wine forums I read that you have many visits during a year.
Of interest, how many bottles of wines do you use for the visits each year and do you open a new bottle each time
Thanks for your reply.
See you soon.
Ciao

Ciao Birger,
you know, I honestly don't want to know how many bottles we open during the year!
I think anyway that everytime we have some visitors, we open new bottles, or at maximum from the day before.
Sometimes I keep bottles opened some days before to show the difference between a just opened one and another with some days of air,
it's always very interesting and surprising!
Ciao, Andrea |

Dear Andrea,
I can amagine it is quite a lot.
We visited Giacomo Conterno, with Stefan, last year and had the Monfortino that was just opened and one who was 3 days "old", the "old" one was much approachable, funny experience.
Ciao
